On Saturday, February 21st, 2009 my wife and I along with 20 others took the Polar Plunge for Arkansas Special Olympics in Cove Lake near Paris, Arkansas.
We raised approximately $2,300 for Arkansas Special Olympics.
The water temperature was estimated at approximately 40 degrees and the air temperature was approximately the same.
I would estimate that with plungers and spectators there were approximately 100 people on hand at the event.
There were prizes given out to those who raised the most money, to those who wore costumes, and to those who helped make it all happen.
I was proud to be a part of the effort and look forward to doing it again in the future.
I began geocaching in 2006 after seeing a link for Geocaching.com on the web site for Mt. Magazine State Park. My wife and I both felt that the hobby would be something we could do with the whole family. We found our first cache on April 13th, 2006 and we have been caching ever since!

That was a very generous gesture on your part.
