This one time in Paris...

"This one time in Paris" is a play on words with my Geocaching.com screen name (paris1time). My screen name is actually a combination of two things that have nothing to do with starting off a story with "This one time in Paris".

I am in law enforcement and of course there are many nicknames for the police. Here are a few: (The Law, The Po Po, Pigs, The Fuzz, Cops, and others). There was a nickname I learned once while at a gang seminar. It was "One Time". It appears that gangs in large cities refer the the police as the "One Time" because the police in those areas tend to patrol through their neighborhood "One Time" during a shift.

I am a law enforcement officer in Paris, Arkansas so I added my home town to the nickname to create my geocaching nickname/screen name/handle of paris1time.

I hope to use this blog site primarily for my geocaching adventures, but from time to time will post other things significant at the time.
